ST. MARK ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH TO HOST SPECIAL MAKER’S MARK BOTTLE

Think Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

Saturday, August 23

RICHMOND, KY – Maker’s Mark will join Mark Catholic Church to offer a very special bottle of Maker’s Mark dipped in pink wax to raise awareness and money to fight breast cancer. An extremely limited number of 50 bottles will be available Saturday, August 23, at 6:00 p.m., at St. Mark Catholic Church, 608 West Main Street, in Richmond. The bottles will be available as part of St. Mark’s 12 Grand Event.

“We are thrilled that Maker’s Mark is producing these bottles,” Reverend James W. Sichko said. “This is an extremely limited number available and, for collectors, this is something really special. We know there will be a tremendous demand for these bottles that will help raise awareness of breast cancer in our community.”

“On a related note, part of the proceeds for our next ‘An Evening Among Friends’ Saturday, which will be held October 25, 2008, at 7:00 p.m., in Richmond’s Brock Auditorium, will benefit breast cancer awareness,” he added.

“An Evening with Friends” grew out of concept that St. Mark, as Church is called to improve the quality of life and to give back what it has received. The mission of St. Mark Church is to foster gospel values through Christian education and to promote the dignity of the person, family and community through worship, service and fellowship.

For collectors and people wanting to make a difference, this special Maker’s Mark bottle will be an incredible item. “We know the community will enjoy these special collector’s bottles and we know the money raised will greatly help in the fight to end breast cancer,” he said.
